Recognized as an experienced and aggressive Defender, Vanessa has spent her entire career representing people accused of crimes.  She has achieved results for thousands of clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies in numerous courts, both State and Federal.  She is widely regarded as a tenacious litigator whose skill and expertise achieve great results for her clients.

Vanessa graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a BA in Communications (Journalism) and English Literature.  In 2005, she graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and began her career as a public defender in King County.

In 2009, Vanessa opened Law Offices of Vanessa C. Martin, PLLC, serving clients pre-charging as well as individuals with pending criminal cases.  She has tried innumerable cases to juries in Courts spanning Western Washington.  She gives each case the attention it deserves as well as offering support and guidance to clients during a difficult, confusing, and frightening time.  Her confidence and legal acumen make her a force to be reckoned with and she is respected by Judges and Prosecutors as a fierce advocate for her clients.
